We recently caught up with Burbeck Interiors, a fascinating UK-based company with a superb portfolio and ultra-quick turnaround throughout Europe. In 2021 Burbeck was the winner of Best Redevelopment in the UK and Best Interior Showroom London. We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know more about how their services can enhance a property, and wanted to learn how their furniture rental and staging could impact a property sale in the Algarve. 


Who is Burbeck Interiors?

Burbeck Interiors is an award-winning luxury home staging, interior design and property consultancy business. It specialises in creating innovative interior design schemes, expert home-staging and bespoke property styling in homes across the UK, the Algarve and Western Europe.

How would you describe your style?

As a design house with over eight full-time interior designers, we are lucky to have a wide variety of design styles. When working together, the team are always innovating and sharing ideas, but we always ensure we deliver a bespoke product for our clients, fitting in with their brief and style identity rather than imprinting our own. Some of our most notable styles in the last 12 months have included luxury wellness-inspired schemes, neutral contemporary modern, maximalist, antique eclectic styles, classic, clean contemporary and sustainable rustic chic. If we had to describe our style in just a few words, it would be varied, award-winning, high quality, and detail and client-orientated.

As well as staging homes to sell in a competitive marketplace, our Burbeck Bespoke range of services places a real emphasis on creating outstanding design, tailored to each client's needs. As well as a full interior design offering and a concierge service to assist with the moving process, we offer beautiful bespoke furniture and lifestyle packages curated by our designers to suit a wide variety of budgets and personal requirements. With an emphasis on quality and providing the ultimate in convenience for our clients, we can furnish entire properties in the Algarve within the ultra-quick turnaround times of 20-30 working days from confirmation. Whether you are refreshing your space, relocating, setting up a second home or if you are a landlord or developer looking for a rapid hassle-free service, you will value our quality, design-led offering. We can also offer blinds, curtains and ‘home essentials’ packs to offer a truly turnkey solution.


How does the process work? 

How bespoke purchase furniture packages work in, five simple steps:

  1. A floor plan is required for a no obligation quote within 24 hours. 
  2. Following your agreement to proceed, we complete a site survey within a week. 
  3. Any additional packs and window treatments are quoted.
  4. Your required inventory is fulfilled.
  5. Our team will carefully create and install your pack within 20-30 days

A similar process is used for providing bespoke packages to stage a property to sell.


Do you need to meet an owner in their property to begin? 

We can curate an initial estimate within 24 hours of receiving a floorplan and any images you may have of the property. Once we have the agreement to proceed with the contract, our team will fly out to meet the owner/property manager at the same time as completing the site visit.


Why use Burbeck Interiors in comparison to a local interior designer? 

Unlike many businesses, we own all our own stock and have a large warehouse in the UK as well as secure supply chains, the scale and quality of which have not been seen in the Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo areas. Our style is varied and our clients’ satisfaction speaks for itself (we have won Best Client Service award in 2020 and 2021.)

In the cases where we rent furniture to stage properties, 85% of those properties sell within the first five weeks of coming to market (based on our own statistics from 2021).

Once a property is sold, the buyer also has the opportunity to purchase the furniture.
